  This is one of my all time favorite coffee places. You cannot go wrong with this place. Their coffee and food are out of this world! The coffee shop is like a hole in the wall kind of place like hidden treasure, and more highly unique than any other cafe you'll ever run into. The coffee served is freshly roasted from tandem coffee roasters out of portland ME. I believe the owner is french, and also the only guy who makes all espresso drinks, thus always giving you a reliable cup of coffee. They are slightly pricey, but totally worth it for the value plus experience.

  The best cannelle I've ever had! I love their ice pops, berry tarts, and sandwiches. The hot chocolate with the truffle is quite a treat. Worth driving two hours for!

  Vergennes Laundry is absolutely my favorite bakery in Vermont. The owners have the cutest little family, and that is reflected in all that they do. Their food and drinks are made with love, the staff was all so friendly and wanted to be sure you were enjoying the experience. The breads and pastries are made in an authentic Northern France style and are incomparable to anything in Vermont now.
